Frequently asked questions
01How early should we book?
Many couples book 9–15 months in advance. Feel free to ask at short notice too – sometimes a date is still available.
02Do we have to pose for the camera?
No. I focus on natural moments instead of directing. I stay discreetly in the background and capture what happens on its own – you can simply enjoy your day.
03Which areas do you cover?
I’m based in Bönningstedt near Hamburg. I film in Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Lower Saxony, on the North Sea and Baltic coast and throughout Germany.
04Are there travel costs?
Travel within 50 km of Bönningstedt is included; beyond that I charge €0.50 per kilometre.
05When will we receive our film?
Depending on the package, within 6–10 weeks after the wedding. The social media teaser usually comes earlier.
06Can we have a say in the music?
Yes. Together we choose licensed music that suits you – so you can also share the film online.
07Do you work with our photographer?
Of course. I coordinate with your photographer in advance so we don’t get in each other’s shots.
08How does payment work?
A 30% deposit is due when the contract is signed, the balance before the film is delivered. All details are in the contract.
09What happens if you are ill?
If I am unable to work due to illness, I will do my best to find an experienced replacement. If that isn’t possible, you will receive a full refund of all payments made.
